On the long way from Paris (where we landed) to Futuroscope (our 1st stop on the way to the Dordogne region) we found this very nice and mid-size safari, where you go on a train ride among several open areas on the wild with many animals, living on their natural environment. The train tour is all in French, but our... More

Take a train ride and look at a handful of animals. Interesting and you get up close but it's all in French. I know it's France. That being said it's well done. They are kind and tell you what they can in English. If given the choice I would have spent the time differently

Thank you for visiting our animal parc. Effectively, the guided tour can be made only in French. That's why we propose texts of translation in several languages, to follow the visit. See you soon ! More

The safari train experience is very well organised for getting on to the train. You have a ticket with your train time on it and the staff make sure you are beside your own family or friends. When we stop at each area the animals are there right by you because they get a little food treet.Large deer with huge antlers,emus... Visited on a wet and cloudy day. Very nice place with some lovely animals and a lovely play area for small kids that isn't mentioned. Only minor drawback was there is no info on animals in English.

We arrived at 12 to find the ticket office and cafe closed until the next train at 2. But there was enough to do and we looked at wild boars and wallabies, and played on the great playground. The train itself takes about 1hr 20 with stops for the guide to give a commentary, which is in French (not really... More

If you want a short break from visiting the castles and you don't feel like walking, or can't, then this is a very nice way to spend some time. It would be nice if they could add some English subtitles to the movie they show at the beginning. During the train ride there are information sheets available in other languages.... More

Didn't have much expectation when we went (2 kids 9 and 11) but we were pleasantly surprised. You travel in open sided carriages on a 'land train' that takes you through a number of separate wooded areas or fields. At each stage the 'train' stops and the guide talks in French about the animals. As non-french speakers we had been... More
