Stopped here quickly as I heard they had great strawberry ice cream. The rumour was correct!!!!! Also recommend the strawberry milkshake. While it wasn't strawberry season it was still a great spot to stop and look at where and how strawberries are grown.

The strawberries are sweeter than the supermarkets but I wouldn't drive too far for them when they are out of season and I did not pick them myself 25/10/2016. The waitress was pushy with the sale, reluctant for an initial taste, and she did not ask how many ice creams we were after. For this reason, we ended up with... More

Called in two weeks ago to buy strawberries. Young lady explained it was the end of season and there weren't many strawberries left to pick. We decided to buy a large punnet of second strawberries already picked for six dollars. Great value we thought. But no, the whole punnet was filled with strawberries that we were half red and half... Stopped in for a cuppa and an icecream - decided to pick our own strawberries. What fun that was, and the fragrance in the car on the way home was devine! Renee in the shop was very helpful, informative and chatty.

My partner and I decided to go check out the Strawberry Fields in Palmview one Saturday morning and we were impressed! Lots of strawberries, good fun to pick your own (PYO). We didn't stay after picking however there were families having picnics on the nice grass - great atmosphere. The only downside was price ($14 approx/1kg) however I assume this... More

Hi Elsie Thank you for your review, and glad you enjoyed your berry picking. Our prices change with the market prices, but we can't compete with supermarket prices. Entry to the farm and facilities is also free. Our PYO is currently $8 per kg as it is getting towards the end of the season. So glad you enjoyed the atmosphere... More

A must-do for someone new to seeing Strawberry Fields. Worth a couple of hours of fun in the sun admiring the red juicy strawberries.

Once a favourite of ours, but after our mid-week visit and a lack of strawberries to pick we'll head down the highway next time. The three of us tried to find decent berries, but unless you went past the roped off area no luck could be found. There was also a lack of control on many visitors who did go... More

Hi Rob We're so sorry you had a difficult time finding berries and navigating the mud. Unfortunately when it rains we need to pick as much fruit as we can before it is spoilt, and it means that the patches are then muddy. We do try to let every visitor know, when they ask to go picking, that there isn't... More

Never been before and it was fun. Picking was over pretty quick so had coffee and the grand children played on the play equipment. Lovely family afternoon out.
