Around 25 years ago, I lived near Labante for around 5 years. I was very happy to discover that the place is unaltered, the only major difference being the travertine trampoline and curtain that have grown incredibly quickly. The small passage once opened to the public, where you could sneak into the small cave at the price of some drops on your back, is now unaccessible, but the place and the surrounding network of trails id decidedly worth the visit: don't miss it!

Although this place is quite small, it’s well worth the visit. It’s beautiful, you can climb in to the grotto, it’s peaceful and you have numerous places to eat a picnic around the site. The site history was only in Italian, which isn’t my first language (!) it would have been nice to get the full context in English too, but my bad for not speaking Italian! It’s very pretty and I enjoyed the 60 minute visit. It looked like there was a walk to be enjoyed too, but with a wheelchair in tow we didn’t risk the unknown...
