A not so well known place to bangaloreans, located in Chittoor district of AP this is a hidden jewel. APTDC is running lot of guest houses which are clean and basic accommodation. While they are not value for money (torn towels etc) it is the only option available now to stay in. Food served in central canteen is excellent for... More

30-40 minutes drive from Madanapalle takes you to Horsley Hills and you reach the hill top view point in a very short time after negotiation a few hair pin bends. The view and the weather, though not mesmerizing, are very pleasing. Due to limited footfall compared to other places within similar distance of Bangalore, there's an air of calm. Park... More

This is a small hill, in terms of area as well as things to do and see. Its a max. 2 day getaway from Chennai once you have exhausted your other main nearby hills. There's not much to see here (except a couple of places), but to enjoy the unadulterated calmness and serenity of nature. Spots to visit: 1) View... More

It is a small hill located nearby Chennai and it is 280Km drive from Chennai. The climate is awesome in nights with cold breeze and in the evening cool winds are great. The drive up the hill is very short and there aren't much sightseeings except for a zoo, 2 view points and a temple. You can cover them by... More

A cool place to visit during all seasons. It's around 10km from the main road and there are some govt buses from madanapalli as well. We visited during December 2016 morning and it was cold(10deg C!!). There is a govt resort and some restaurants as well. There are several view points of the valley and they offer amazing views. There... More

If you have completed your itinerary and nothing to do with your life, then you can go for it. I'm still wondering how they are saying this as a tourist attraction, the hill is small, not dense, not cool, not good hotels, from the base 10 mins you will be in top, I'm insisting my frnds, hey don't waste time... The Haritha resort cottage stay was nice. The place has 1/20th the crowd of Nandi Hills, 3x area, 2x attractions: 1. a park with some birds, tortoise, rabbits, deer and crocodile, 2. Some adventure sports like wall climbing, rope walking, quad bike/ATV, archery etc.. lots of children activities 3. swimming pool in haritha resort
