Overview
More
Regional museum (in the town centre near the church) with cultural history collections centred on agriculture, fishing, shipping, living habits and building customs. The museum centre arranges thematic exhibitions featuring domestic and local life, and archaeology. Here we can view the implements the fishermen and farmers had at their disposal. Models and photos illustrate the boats that were used for fishing and transport. Also found here is the oldest general store, a shipowner's elegant dining room and a spartan schoolroom for children of the middle classes. Opening hours: all year Monday to Friday at 10.00 -14.00
