We stopped here a Tuesday and the gift shops, Hovding Halle among others were open. 50% off on all glass prices, good deals. We ate at the Bakeri- quite expensive cappuccino and shrimp salad!

Pamphlets etc are in a variety of languages, including English. Translation is identical. Everyone there will speak English to you as soon as they hear you speaking English (as is the norm in the rest of Norway, as well... More
