I want to live here. This marina is picture perfect and the boats in it are enviable. There are shoals of fish that are particularly enjoyable to watch and some lovely looking bars/restaurants.

Very modern marina, packed with yachts of all sizes. Scent of money everywhere. Home of some nice restaurants and bars.

You'll see it from everywhere - on the sea (by boat), on the bus. For us was a guide - it's really big.

It's a matter of personal preference. Portomaso is closer to the buzz of St Julian's and Paceville (nightlife, restaurants and what watersports there are). Sliema is more of a business centre as well as residential. It has... More

We will be staying at Portomaso marina next year and have read on the forum about a water taxi that takes you from the marina to Valletta. This sounds great but has anyone used this service, where do you get it from and does it go anywhere else.

It is located at he mouth of the marina, just below the swimming pools of the Hilton. It is expensive and I think that you can taylor your journeys at a price. I don't think that you can land at Valletta. A day bus ticket... More
