Absolutely outstanding! I was especially pleased to hear the stories of the museum coming alive at night from the young gentleman in the tea room, Luke. He was extremely pleasant and seemed to have a special bond with the Teddy Roosevelt waxwork model. Overall, a brilliant experience (even if the Huns were causing mischief).

Our first visit to Avoncroft & thoroughly enjoyed it!!! The staff & volunteers were helpful & very knowledgable. For each building there were details of where it came from, its restoration etc - found it fascinating!! The collection of telephone boxes & a telephone exchange was a unique experience but interesting. Fab selection of tea & cakes in the coffee... More

My friend and I went Sunday 30 October on a Halloween tour,as we have not been before we didn't know what to expect.we visited most of the buildings with decorations and scares on way around with our torches in the dark we laughed, screamed. But had a good night and also went on train brilliant in the dark!!!

Lovely few hours walking around the historic buildings. Very knowledgable volunteers at the telephone kiosk display and windmill. Stopped twice at the tea rooms, cream teas to start off and ended on bacony sausage rolls. Can highly recommend both.

This is a great museum, with a wide range of buildings rescued from the local area and beyond. The information about each is interesting and is complemented by guides in costume in some of the buildings.

We had the best night. We all loved it and the staff was really good. The two ladies in the toll house was amazing. We are so looking forward to next year. Well done.

The grandchildren really enjoyed the day. Pumpkin carving, train ride and broomstick making went down really well. The children enjoyed walking round the buildings looking for the spooky items and the story teller was very good. Take food with you on these busy days as customers were waiting 45 minutes for sandwiches and other orders. Quicker and easier to pick... More

We had a fantastic day out here! The buildings are stunning. We spent ages calling each other from the phone boxes, and even saw a tardis!! The cafe is very pricey though, so a packed lunch is needed. The staff are very friendly, and I found it very accessible with my walking stick. Definitely going again.
