Great tour with monstrous trucks over the Vliehors, being the biggest desert of Europe. Crossing beautiful beaches and endless sandy plains including 2 stops. One at the old rescue house (from the 19ties) including a tour of the guide, the other one spotting seals on...More

It is nice to see the other side of Vlieland and the Vliehors Expres offers this option. We selected a busy weekend day and were disappointed by the many people that we allowed in the truck which made it a squeezed and uncomfortable ride. I...More

It's really fun to take this tour. The guy gave us some basic information about Vlieland itself. And eventually, you will go to that white house, which can make you feel at the end of the world.

A must see! Good view of the sand plain of Vlieland. At the end of the island you can see Texel as well.

The specialist trucks allow for an all-weather visit, even on a rainy, very windy day we had a very enjoyable couple of hours.
