We stopped by here as a family and it’s a nice way to spend some time. There is a bar / coffee shop that looks out over the sea too so a great opportunity to relax and take in the scenery.

We parked up in town and walked along the sea front which is full of small cafes and restaurants. The beach is spotless with white / golden sand. The sea is blue / clear. The setting is stunning.

We had a short visit to Sesimbra and walked around the area including the fort. Liked the views from the fort. I must admit that our favorite stop was an amazing fish lunch near the marina.

It stand right in the middle of the village, tourism information is situated inside the Castle, during the summer there are lots of activities going on inside the fortress, worth a visit. There is a restaurant and museum in there too.
