I'm always hesitant of zoos; caged wild animals, but something was different here. The animals were active, moving, playing, seemingly happy. Our two year old LOVED the petting area & watching the monkeys. & I have to say this is the most reasonably priced zoo...More

We went to this zoo based on other recommendations suggesting it was good for young children as we have a 2 year old. He absolutely loved it except when during feeding one of the lemurs jumped up onto my shoulder and stole his biscuit he...More

Although maybe a little expensive the zoo was an excellent family (4 adults and and a 6 year old) day out, even in the rain. The layout is very good with an interesting variety of animals. We enjoyed feeding popcorn to the goats and it...More

The first review I read suggested this zoo wasn't good value for the entrance fee. At €16 for an adult (children half) this was excellent value and I'd have been happy paying that for our 18 month old son who's entry was free. Having been...More

Perhaps it is as a result of having an excellent Zoo in Dublin but I just felt that this Zoo does not have enough to justify the relatively expensive entry fee. Children over the age of 12 are classified as adults which means that they...More

Our daughter's first trip to the zoo, and both her and we loved it. Most importantly the animals looked in great condition, with plenty of space and shade to move about in, and there are plenty of places to get up close to them (tigers,...More
