Not in the same league as some of the bigger zoos but the price reflects this. Keeps children amused on a family day out. Could probably soon do with a new attraction or a little revamping to maintain interest. Animals are well looked after.

There are those who disagree with wild animals being kept behind bars and to a certain extent, I agree. At Thrigby however, the collection is not a huge one and is an important breeding centre for some exceedingly rare and endangered species - see their...More

An incredible place to visit, some of the most beautiful wild cats, I have never seen a snow leopard up close but I did here and they are gorgeous animals. The best part of the visit was getting up close on a viewing platform and...More

I've been to a lot of wildlife parks and zoos and found this one to be alright, there were a few animals that I hadn't seen in other zoos like the Golden Cat or the tiny Leopard Cat. It is good for families with children...More

Great day out, the only wildlife park where i've felt really close to the animals, the tiger enclosure has a walkway over the top of it, the animals are all very well looked after, great day out for all age groups.

Not the biggest wildlife park or with the greatest variety of animals, but the way they were presented was superb. Trendline walkways meant we could be just inches away from leopards, tigers, baboons and other animals. Superb day out.

Took our 3 year old to thrigby hall whilst on holiday from Yorkshire. The zoo is very well priced (£27 for 2 adults) and you get very up close and personal with the animals. Would highly recommend a visit here. My daughter had a great...More

We hadn't been here since my daughter was a toddler. Decided to return with our son (3) and daughter (6). It was just as amazing as it was 4 years ago. The children loved the animals and the tree top walks. We brought a picnic...More

One word - brilliant When i first saw the price list my first thought was that's expensive for a wildlife park. After i left i then thought worth every penny. Its a smallish park however there are lots of animals. When we visited the tigers...More

Thrigby is about 3-4 miles from the nearest mooring on the Bure. The best is probably at Stokesby Ferry. This is Norfolk, there will almost certainly be no public transport. Walking on the busy but single track roads will... More

Yes, definitely, there are ramps everywhere and also viewing ramps through the trees to see the animals close at hand. Plenty of room for you but would probably avoid a weekend when there are lots of buggies there!
