About 3 hrs from Shillong in the West Jaintia Hills district. As is typical of Meghalaya, one drives through scenic landscapes to arrive there. Quiet, desolate, stunning valleys and hills and without the crash commercialization. There are bigger falls in this state, but this one...More

Whoa!! What a fall it was. We just loved it. The green colour of the waterfall was something to lust for. We were travelling with limited time in our hand, else we'd definitely had a dip there.

The waterfall is in jowai little far from Shillong almost 90 kms. But the beauty of the place is awesome. It's blue water and the locations of surrounding is amazing. You must visit the place once. This will give you ultimate pleasure.

By far the most beautiful waterfall I have visited. The road to the falls is quite confusing as there aren't any proper signs.

Beauty at it's best. .Gives you that cinematic experience in another country feeling. Bahubali type of fact from fiction.

The beauty of the falls, in my eyes, essentially lay on the fact that so many streams have come down almost parallelly without intersecting and this gives a brilliant view when one looks down and the falling point of the water.

From Shillong you have to go to Jowai. From jowai you have to take the road to Dawki. Krang suri falls is located at Amlarem which is on the way from jowai to dawki.
