It was a good ride to the end point of the dam and back with good views on both sides of the road. Would recommend reaching this place a little before sunset in order to see the mesmerizing view while taking a boat ride. There is a deer park on the other side of the water body which is also... Excellent drive on the dam all the way as far as I could see I drove my Car. I didnt feel like returning. Clicked some breath taking snaps on my Nikon SLR.

The drive from the dam to and back was wonderful. The sky was turning grey, all ready for a down pour which made it mesmerizing!!!

This is a huge dam, once can walk, ride or drive to other side of the dam. Lovely view. Prior permission is required from entry office.

Lovely place to visit when you near to this part of West Bengal.... The DAM is really huge... and long drive way on top of the area... extremely enjoyed as with family members and we were planned with recreations and games in side the area... The good time to visit will be March to May and if you really want... More

we can drive for quite a few kilometer to see the dam. the water was so beautiful and so was the scenic beauty all around.

The wall of the dam is pretty. We drove our car to the other end. People don't bother to throw rubbish in the bins provided. So rubbish everywhere.

A good place for trip in West Bengal.This place has the good combination of waterbody and hills.you can enjoy dual view one is water body to hills view and hills to water view.Here has a dear park also.mukutmanipur to dear park is a long enjoyable journey through boat.

This place is teeming with picnickers on a weekend, especially in the cooler months. I went there by my own car from Bishnupur town,for a quick tour of the place. Roads are pretty decent and I was dependent on GPS,which actually didn't disappoint. I asked for directions at few crossings as well. The place is too crowded,especially for picnickers and... More
