The narrow streets are full of little boutique waiting to be explored after you have walked up the hill to the old fort at the end of the beach.

Lots of narrow streets, nooks and crannies full of quirky and impressive architecture. Lots of shops bars and restaurants. Everything from designer shopping to artisan shops to bucket and spade.

I just fell in love with this place with its cobbled stones, pretty cafes and beautiful atmosphere with the beach. You saw a lot of people taking their pet dogs for a walk. It was a beautiful romantic place

Not very large but the old town has a lot of charm. Great place to walk around and I recommend this as a late afternoon early evening activity when it's a bit cooler.

It was a charming little town to stroll along after a hiking trip. Very suitable for family with small children as well.

Just enjoy walking around in the little street . You will find nice architecture and little shops. The way to the castle passes through the old town

Just a lovely place with amazing views and places to eat. If you turn left at the beach and walk up the hill the restaurants have lovely views of the beach and castle

Do you mean a child's buggy when you say 'pushchair'? If so - parts of it are accessible if it's an all terrain buggy - I did see someone with a buggy the day we were there. However, quite a lot of it wouldn't be suitable... More

Hello, We will be staying near Perpignan for 7 days from the 27th. We've got the car with us so transport isn't a problem, would just like to know how long it would take to get there and how easy the drive is. Many thanks :)
