Nice place to visit this archaeological site with roman culture and is a outdoor museum with free entrance. To see all this is took 20 - 30 minutes.

It is free - in the centre of town - but to be honest a bit of a let down. Most of the site is an interpretation of what the layout would have been - one room mosaic floor is worth seeing. Only takes 15 minutes to see

The architecture can be discerned in the remains, the best pieces are in other museums though, nice for a stroll, but not for wheelchairs.

It is possible to imagine this long-time occupied Roman villa, from some reconstruction and drawings. Some artefacts are in the Municipal Museum. Only minutes from the Vila Vela.

Nice roman villa with superb mosaic to admire if it is open; an openair museum, very interesting for familys.

Our hotel was next door to to Els Ametllers Roman Villa. We visited it a few times. The site is well looked after and is well preserved. Great views of the town. I found the visit very interesting and it free to enter.

We thought that the villa was in a superb location with views over Tossa There were just two mosaic floors and also walls surrounding the different rooms all of which were labelled with explanations

Lovely mosaic floors and gardens can be seen at this once impressive roman villa and warehouse, It is a little steep to get to the upper terrace for anyone with mobility issues or young children. Access is free from 10am and closes early evening. Sadly vandals have smashed fences and some of the glass tiles since our last visit which... More

This is free of charge and well worth seeing, it is easily accessible to anyone staying in or adjacent to the town. The mosaics are amazing and mainly intact. However, we visited in October and there was no information of the boards about each of the rooms - perhaps they take this off in the low season. The site seemed... More
