51 reviews
Venture up the coast and explore beautiful Costa Brava on this full-day tour. This region north of Barcelona is home to dramatic cliffs, jagged coastlines, picturesque coves and charming seaside villages. Visit protected parks such as Cap de Creus, the Emporda Marshes and the Marine Reserve Medes Islands and make stops in fishing towns with whitewashed walls and historic churches. This is the perfect way to get out of the city and see one of Catalonia’s most beautiful regions in just a half-day.

Good walk up to this and we also discovered the Roman Villa ruins on the way too which is worth a look and is free! Great views of the area from up here, can’t go in the tower but it’s worth a trip.

Took the long steep route to the tower..no good if you are not fit....the building stands proud near the cliff tops..you can only view from the outside which is a shame...tbe views are spectacular though

It a long hard climb on a hot day via the roads but the view from the there is worth it. It may be easier to walk along the steps from the old town

This old tower is interesting for people who like to know more about the Spanish history. The Moors’ Tower is a prime example of the watch towers constructed by King Philip II along the Spanish Mediterranean coast in the 16th century to protect the populace from incursions and raids by North African pirates. The towers were strategically situated along the coast and linked by day with smoke signals and by night with light signals. Watchmen were permanently posted to warn townspeople of imminent Moorish attack, thus enabling them to seek protection within the city walls. Worthwhile to visit for history lovers.
