A castle with free entrance, nice place to spend an hour of free time. Nothing outstanding, crowds at high season, but view is amazing.

Great place to explore and investigate. Walk up to the castle takes around 30 min through amazing old streets. The views of the Castillo are stunning and just get better and better as you approach. Don't miss!

Well worth the visit, some great views from the top, great to find the little bar/cafe at the end of what was a hot sweaty walk, reasonably priced as well.

it's cold in the winter night and very quiet since 98% restaurant has been closed along the shore, we just sit near it and kept took pictures of the shining castle. Next day morning, we walked to the castle again and had a great family moment there.

Glorious in the sunshine, startling silhouette well illuminated at night. Whether admired from below, afar or close by, the Castillo is exceptionally pretty! The ascent can be a little slippery in cooler temperatures but the stone pathways are well laid and the climb not too tough to reach the summit

This is the oldest complete walled medieval fort on the Costa Brava. Very small--and therefore easily walked and enjoyed in a half day. The views from the lookout point at the top are exquisite (and the outdoor tapas bar very convenient) and the winding paths provide places to sit and chat.

Castle in Tossa de Mar is the most beautiful of the Costa Brava. From the top you can see the whole city and a nice view to the sea. The castle can be visited at any time it is open all the time. Although it is very old castle looks very good.
