Things which may be helpful: 1) The house is expensive at $25 and the museum is extra; 2) There were no English tours so we took one in Swedish and had a English book (borrowed) to tell us what we were seeing. This worked well...More

When visiting Mora, Zorngården is a place you shouldn't miss, unless you or someone in your group can't follow the important directions to NOT TOUCH ANYTHING! You can only see the house with a guided tour so make sure to book a time that works...More

We went on a guided tour and thanks to the humorist, knowledgeable and time keeping guide which made it an excellent experience. Very interesting to get an insight to Anders Zorn's life. Given the reviews here on TripAdvisor we went for the house rather than...More

Impressive and unexpected hour in the former home of Anders an Emma Zorn. The guide really gave us a good sense of the past time and how they lived. Zorn was really wealthy and progressive in many ways. Do not bring small children.

Nice to go on a guided tour in this painter's house. Very special architecture. The best part I think was to get to see how it looked like in the very beginning of the 20th century. Good guided tours.

It remains today almost untouched since turn of the last century.A home created by a person with both economic conditions and resourcefulness, based on tradition and knowledge of the then modern construction method.Particularly striking is the large timber constructions in the east which houses the...More

Good idea to do both the museum and the house. You get to know the artist and his wife by doing that.
