“Excellent stay”
Mar 2018 • Couples
This is a very well run hotel with friendly professional staff at all levels. The main clientele the week I was there were well heeled retired Germans. The clientele reflect the dress code which is very smart , it’s not unusual to see ladies in full makeup and high heels at breakfast ! Although shorts and Ts are fine , not swimwear though.
The food is very good as is the ambience in the restaurant. There are 2 other restaurants which you pay extra for, however we didn’t get round to going to them. The price of wine is from around €20 upwards, cocktails € 8 . Beer etc also reasonably priced in my opinion .
The entertainment is low key some is excellent and some very average.
There are Plenty of sun beds around the pools and whilst there is no difficulty getting one they do allow the nasty habit of saving them from 7am this may mean you don’t get one where you would perhaps like It.
I would recommend this hotel for adults seeking a quiet relaxing week with good food and service. There are a few families here with young children but older children would be very bored .
Finally high rooms at the front have a sea view but no afternoon sun . Rooms at the back , pool view and afternoon sun.

Hotel ruined our holiday before we even got there! MAJOR building/refurbishment work taking place
Nov 2017 • Couples
We booked in January 2017 to stay at this hotel from Monday 20th November 2017. On the evening of Thursday 16th November, we got an email from TUI, who we had booked with, to say that one of the pool areas was undergoing major renovations (including replacing all the tiles in the pool) from 22nd November 2017 for about a month and that there would be noise and disruption to some public areas, particularly at the start of the work. Why did the hotel not inform TUI/us sooner - surely they knew five days before the work was due to start. We had been recommended this hotel by two separate friends and were really looking forward to spending a week relaxing by the pool - this obviously wasn't going to be possible with the work going on so we were left with no alternative but to cancel the holiday completely. Thanks a lot Seaside Palm Beach!

Spa massage in hotel was good but .........
Sep 2017 • Couples
My wife was concerned about the male masseurs. She was nervous as all she wore were the paper knickers and the towel covering her was removed on a few occasions. If you can get past this "exposure" then the actual massage is first class.
As a man I was not that intimidated by the process.
Overall a good experience and talking point.
Not a 5 star review due to the reluctant nudity in such an intimate environment for the ladies.

GREAT HOTEL

The appearance of the hotel from outside does not do it justice.
The Palm Beach sign looks cheap and white hotels always look budget. However get inside and it is trendy and the ground are fabulous.

Seaside Palm Beach - rude and arrogant spa receptionist – never again!
Seaside Palm Beach - rude and arrogant spa receptionist – never again!

A truly awful experience at the Palm Beach Hotel Spa.

We’d booked a spa day at the Palm Beach Hotel Spa after being shown around the complex by the receptionist. We were looking forward to the promised day of relaxation and pampering and use of the wet area.

When we returned it was a totally difference experience. A different spa receptionist was on duty. She was rude and arrogant and did everything she could to make us feel unwelcome. This type of welcome is not what you expect from a spa or a 5 star hotel. She made us sit in the reception area like school children and wait for no apparent reason. The spa brochure says gowns and slippers are provided for your treatment but the receptionist refused to provide these. We’d booked treatments followed by use of the wet areas but the receptionist refused entry to the wet area for no valid reason.

We politely explained that the services we’d booked and paid for were not being provided but the receptionist dismissed this as “not her problem”. This is not 5 star service and a poor reflection of the Seaside brand.

Poor service really does ruin the holiday experience and I would not recommend this hotel.

Dear Seaside Palm Beach Guest, Thank you for your comments published on Tripadvisor. When reading your comment we were highly surprised by the description of our spa and wellness staff, as it is our commitment to offer our guests a first-class service in every area of the hotel and at all times. Please accept my sincere apologies that the spa receptionist did not meet with your expectations; however I would have been grateful if you had reported your dissatisfaction directly to me on the very same day at which time I am certain that we would have found a satisfactory solution and avoided any further misunderstandings. Please be assured that we will discuss this unusual occurrence at our next staff meeting. Once again, I wish to apologize for the inconveniences caused and wish you all the best. Kind regards, Rocío Cibrán General Manager Seaside Palm Beach*****
