2 adults and a 9 year old went the week before Christmas and had a fantastic time. The weather was cloudier than forecast so we ended up driving to the top of the island and returning home later than planned but it was all worth it and we were so glad Gauthier was determined to show us the stars. We saw the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn (amazing!) as well as many stars and the moon. It was cold so take lots of warm clothes and sandwiches/food to eat (nowhere to buy food in the journey) but definitely recommended. I thought it was very good value and would recommend to couples and families. Great to have the photo of us with the telescope to remember it and we also took photos of the moon with smartphone which turned out well

Me and my two boys took the tour two years ago when we first visited Gran Canary. Other than the giant buble trampoline in Radisson Blu, this astro trip was the most memorable experience. Even today we still talk about it. Gauthier was such a wonderful, knowledgable and passionate guild. He and assistant showed us everything, planets, stars, galaxies and we even watched the ISS with our naked eyes. It was very cold on top of the mountain and they provided us with very warm clothes and blanket. My two boys got to help set up the telescope which they felt so proud of and they even won tiny two meteor from the tour. My little one gained so much knowledge and interest in Astronomy that he wants to work in astro fields now. Gauthier also provided extra help and info to us on home-use telescope etc. We recommend this tour and Gauthier 100%.

Our family, with 2 teenaged children, had a brilliant time with AstroGC. Amazing astronomy experience, very professional. Gauthier and Tony, were very charming, excellent communication skills, organised and took care of everything. Very nice vehicles and transport. All social distancing and COVID19 infection control was excellent. The location, scenery & telescopes were super & Gauthier's explanations really good. We saw planets, nebula, a star cluster, double-stars, moon craters and a comet. Excellent sandwiches too. If you're going to pay for an excursion in Gran Canaria I HIGHLY recommend you go stargazing with AstroGC 😊 🌟⭐🌟⭐

Superb experience from start to finish and great value too. Booking online was easy and communication confirming trip was great. Enjoyed the scenic drive into the mountains. Gauthier drove carefully in search of a cloud-free spot where he set up his telescope and explained how it works. We viewed galaxies, a binary star system and observed craters on the moon. Gauthier is very knowledgeable and informative and went to great lengths to ensure that we had the best possible experience. Highly recommended for all ages and levels of interest. Would like to return when Jupiter and Saturn are visible.
