Very clean peaceful place

Relaxing, peaceful friendly. The beach very clean with local police doing their rounds and therefore we felt very safe.

there is a very large area of yellow sandy dunes some covered with shrubby bushes. Part of the dunes is a nature reserve and the public are not allowed in to allow endangered species to survive. At the Playa de INgles end lots of small cafes and shops and a long beach.

We went early in the morning, which seemed a good choice as it wasn't too hot or too busy. Really challenging to climb the high dunes so you feel like you've accomplished something on holiday!

One has really to experience it to know how sand can be a very difficult obstacle, especially to reach the top of a dune. It is really amazing to rest or walk on top of dunes (only in no-damaging for nature areas). Yes, it looks like the desert...

The braches of Maspalomas are great, you can enjoy from Maspalomas till playa del Ingles the water side. The dune area is great in every period of the year. For who likes it, nude sunbading is almost everywhere allowed.

We spent a couple of days of our holiday running up, and jumping off the sand dunes, getting great pictures and making wicked memories with our two children. I'd definitely recommend a visit whilst visiting gran canaria.

Nice beach with clean and fine sand which is good for young children. There are lots of small restaurants closed to the beach with good price. We walked along the road next to the beach with pushchair, but had to carried it to get close to the sea. So if you decide to stay on the beach, get a light... More
