Not a spectacular beach as beaches go in Corsica, but very quiet and peaceful, surrounded by great scenery and a pleasant drive. It is definitely away from the crowds, but don't expect the tourist facilities as in the bigger, popular destinations of the south and east of Corsica.

This is a small beach with no commercial or public structures at the end of the village by the same name. The beach has some sand but it is mostly pebbles. The attraction is the isolation and the clear water. The road getting there from Calvi through the golf de Galeria is truly spectacular.

It is not the nicer in Corsica but it is really nice to not have such a mass of tourists snorkeling by the rocks was great and many fishes to see easily!!! Parking free and easy to reach!!! The castle was difficult to do for the kids! But they managed to do one of stones!!! Lol!

Very nice and quite. No much white sand and rather small stones. It's in the village and very convenient. We loved it

Nice volcanic beach - a Variation from the sandy beaches Corsica offers so many of. Short (10 min) walk from the parking lot, no Problem with sandals. Try to use local maps and find a part of the beach I seem to remember as "Ricciacciu" (cannot find it on Google Maps under this name). It is right at the entrance of the Fango Delta close to an old watchtower for Galeria. Canoe can be rented and the Delta can be explored by boat. If you choose to stay on the beach, you have a beautiful view of the Delta and the mountains. The surface of the beach is rocky (but rocks softened and roundened by the water). The sea is deep blue and there can be nice waves. We saw a couple of nude (sun) bathers and this seems to be typial for the region. The beach was almost deserted in June, so it made up for its slightly below average beauty for Corsica with its solitude and roughness. No restaurant, no toilets. Recommended!
