We stayed at the small camping half way up the valley. On the expensive side, considering that only one toilet and one shower worked in the whole camping. Sinks were filthy, never saw anyone clean them. River water wasn't so clear around the camp site. Downstream was nicer.

Lots of places to swim - just pull over where you see other cars or tracks and make your way down. Some places shallow, some deep for jumping in or pools for swimming. Lovely views. Also recommend the canoe hire at the Fango delta - go early morning so you don’t have to wait too long (you can’t book ahead). Beach by river delta much quieter than Galéria main beach.

We were looking for something different to do from the usual beach, cultural thing. We heard about this area and the natural geological pool formation that it has, and we just drove out and went. Absolutely gorgeous spot. Where ever you stop along the way of the designated areas the water was crystal clear, clean and a wonderful temperature. Just amazing.

Best river swim we did in Corsica. The water was so warm. We parked in the second car park on the left, had our picnic by the river and then only kept our waterproof Decathlon rucksack. Then we went downstream, some parts were very deep, you could jump off the rocks, it was very easy to walk on the stones or swim. The water was so warm and clear. Of course we saw a lot of people on the way but still so peaceful and so much more relaxing than the Restonica where the drive was a nightmare.
