Captain Sean was obnoxious, disorganized and brought us out in conditions that were way too rough. He did not have proper and well-maintained equipment including no fins and poor fitting snorkel masks. I would not recommend.

Highly recommend KKC for a stress-free kayaking adventure. Sean was professional and patient with our group of inexperienced crazies. We had an incredible whale encounter and even heard them singing as they traveled below our little "pod". Snorkeling was great too, tons to see but recommend a noodle if you're not a strong swimmer. Will definitely be going back for... More

Sean....you are the absolute best! 5 novices in the kayaks and snorkeling! You taught us how. And the whale experience was breathtaking! And luck has it.....we actually heard them singing! Highly recommend this for everyone. Or just call Sean for big island information! 3 hours of absolute fun! Will definitely do this again!

Sian led our group (4 adults and 4 kids) on a wonderful kayak & snorkel trip. He was a patient teacher -- some of us had some kayaking experience, some of us didn't -- and terrific guide, leading us to secluded coves and beaches and offering plenty of tasty snacks. We all had a wonderful time!

Sean was an awesome guide, gentle teacher and font of information. We took a leisurely kayak trip, stopped to snorkel and had delicious snacks. Never hurried, and up for whatever, Sean made the trip fit our group's needs. Great deal.

My wife and I had amazing experience with Sian from Kohala Kayaks while on our honeymoon. Sian was great to chat to and very knowledgeable about marine life and the island itself. The kayaks were easy to use and were given clear instructions for first time users like ourselfs. We snorkelled at 3 different spots, swimming with Sea Turtles, various... More

My wife and I had a great experience with Sean at Pauko Bay. Upon our arrival, the boats were in the water and we were kayaking within 5 minutes of parking. He is knowledgeable and shared the best way to explore the island in an economical way. We kayaked about a mile offshore and saw several whales. We then headed... More

We rented paddle boards from them and went out on our own. The price is very reasonable and the equipment and people are very nice. They give you a small lesson on how to best handle the boards. The Kohala bay is very calm and easy to paddle around in. The open sea is not far and you can paddle... More

We rented SUP boards for the week in Puako. Sean dropped them off and picked up for us. He also checked in us during the week to see how things were going. We had a blast paddling off the Puako coast... Thank you to Sean for his awesome service and for providing the means to make our trip even that... More
