This beautiful medieval castle is rooted in the lake and surrounded by a beautiful natural park. You can admire it in autumn together with the warmth of leaves and plants that cover all the surroundings. However, the internal museum is open only during spring and summer. If you want to live an experience of peace and silence, nature and relax... More

Just a perfect castle with water on outside... Inside there's a little bistro where you can buy something to drink.

This castle castle is a major moated castle in Switzerland. Built in the 16 century on the river this renovated castle offers a nice visit into the middle-age. The audio guide has vey good explanations

This castle is in great shape and many of the rooms are open for viewing. They have furnished them authentically. One of my favorite rooms has the family tree that covers a large wall. It is in a beautiful setting. There is a small cafe at ground level serving drinks and snacks.

This was a very enjoyable castle, for me and my 2 year old son. The moat added a picturesque touch - not a lot of Swiss castles have moats. The shop / ticket counter let us store our stroller there and the first island had lots of open space for a picnic and for my son to run around in.... More

Set in beautiful country side and a great place for a walk. The castle itself was well maintained but there was not much in the way of furniture and exhibits inside. The focus was mainly around the family that lived there whereas we would have preferred to know more about the castle itself. There is a cafe inside the courtyard.... More
