As we visited in Janyary there was no water . We just viewed rocks and that was also nice. But after reading so much good about place . Raneh fall is around 20 km from khajuraho western group of temples. The road is nice and goes through wheat fields and takes minimum 30-40 mins. After looking for places to visit in Khajurao, we were advised by our Hotel manager to visit Raneh waterfall. One of the beautiful place to see during or after rainy season. During your visit to Khajuraho, must visit Raneh fall. Nice place with lots of greenery and the most beautiful water fall. Most beautiful fall near khajuraho but water fall has a very little water in winters. U can go there in rainy days. It was a very beautiful views to see different types of rocks in fall. Totally good to see this.

Raneh falls is very near to khajuraho (approx 30 km). Its a nice falls but very dry in winter. So we find not much water there. But fortunately we see various volcanic rock there which are not visible in rainy season. Its called the Grand canyon of India. But dont expect much its just a falls with some natural transformed... Well this place around 24 KM from the western group of temples and have got an amazing scenic beauty. Pic which is put above is of Canyon and Raneh Falls are just 100mts from here, in winters dont expect the falls but the beautiful view of colourful rocks. Raneh falls should be definitely visited if you are in Khajuraho..The actual beauty of falls is in monsoon but it was no less beautiful at this time of the year..The canyon displays various colours depending on the rock..To reach there you need to buy a ticket at the counter at ghariyal sanctuary..A guide accompanies you..There are some beautiful view spots...
