Nitzan Travel Services planned a wonderful two-weeks in Israel and Jordan. Nir was able to hit all of our high points throughout the country, find fantastic accommodation, wrangle all of the details for our trip to Petra and provide us with Danny Makeover, best guide ever. All of the many details went off without a hitch, including ensuring that one of our number was able to join us half-way through the trip. Highly recommended.

My family has wanted to travel to and tour Israel for many years and when I talked to my good friend Al who had just toured Israel he raved about Nir and Nitzan travel so I decided to contact Nir and he responded very quickly. I was wanting to put together a two week trip that would allow us to see all the major sights of Israel and we corresponded via email for weeks planning out our trip. I was so excited to go for the summer of 2020 but the Covid Pandemic hit with a vengeance and we ended up having to cancel our plans. But, I was determined to go and so we planned for July summer 2021 and through Nir's determination and persistance he successfully was able to get our tour/trip approved by the Israeli Ministry of Tourism. We did a two week tour and traveled to Galilee, Jerusalem, the Dead Sea, the desert and lastly to Eilat at the Red Sea. We loved our trip and especially loved our guide Lior. Loir was the kindest, smartest guide we've ever had in our travels around the World. We had a

I toured Israel with the Southwestern Seminary Choir, in Dec. 1999, and Nir Nitzan was our guide. I was the teacher with her hand up in the air, peppering Nir with questions!
He was absolutely fantastic!
He and I kept in touch for several years, and I got the chance to assist him, when he came to Texas on business. What a thrill!
If God allows me another trip to Israel, Nir would be my #1 choice of guide.

I gave the owner, Nir, every opportunity to make things right, but when he finally responded (after contacting him several times and waiting weeks for a response), he denied any responsibility for logistical issues that, with a bit of common tour company care, would never have taken place. Our group booked a senior citizen tour with some mobility issues. However no care was taken to address these issues, even after so much was expressed during the tour. Most of the synagogues we went to were closed (no times were checked???). There were more events booked within a day than were possible, resulting in us having to skip things (like a Bedouin lunch and camel ride) that we already paid for. One hotel had us in the back of the property on the 2nd level - even though this was a senior citizen trip. Half the group was unable to do MORE than half of the activities. While my husband and I were able to participate, it was disappointing to see others held back. Our complaints went unheard. We loved the trip but it could have been so much more. Nir refused to accept any responsibility or compensate us on things we paid for but did not get. The owner's attitude was most disappointing. That being said, Israel is an amazing country that everyone should have the opportunity to experience!

Nir took our family of four on a tour of Israel for 10 days. After hearing what we wanted, he chose our hotels, drove us to each venue, purchased our tickets, brought us straight to the best parts, shared the history, and then answered questions, questions and more questions in the car, at meals, and any other time we asked. He is knowledgeable and professional. We never even saw him fill his van with gas; he did that after dropping us at our accommodations. He is a class act and I highly recommend his services.

This saying is part of Nitzan Travel's logo....and it's true! My husband, myself and another couple heard of Nir from friends and chose to have him help us with our travel plans to Israel from the States. From our first emails and the beginnings of an itinerary, Nir was always pleasant, helpful, professional and flexible. He even met us at the airport upon arrival to make sure everything was okay. After that he was always reachable by phone or text if needed. Nir chose Yoram Mor as our driver/guide and what an excellent choice! Now we can recommend Yoram too! He was very knowledgeable, pleasant and professional in every way. And always accommodating as we tweaked our itinerary a bit along the way. Yoram was once a professional photographer so he helped me greatly with picture taking. And his restaurant suggestions were good too! The four of us agree that Nitzan Travel Service and Yoram Mor sure helped in making this one fabulous trip! Thank you again so much!!!

We have used Nir Nitzan for three separate trips over the years, starting in 2005. He is so very knowledgeable about Israel, its culture, history and geography. He is an educator at heart and will fill in the blanks of your knowledge and/or curiosity. He is fully capable of leadings tours no matter the religious background of the tourists. I have loved crafting our small tours to be specific to our needs...first with younger children...then with teens. Nir also has a line on the best restaurants -- such amazingly delicious foods he will lead you to! I have heard, though not my thing, that he leads bike tours as well. All in all, if I could, I'd go back again and again and use Nir Nitzan every time!

I have had the opportunity to travel with Nir through Israel twice. The first time as a young adult with my family, and the second time as a parent of a young child with my family. In both trips, Nir customized the tour to our individualized needs. He is incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and devoted to his work as a guide. Our most recent trip this past February included my 3 year old daughter, who fell in love with Nir. He was always patient and kind with her and with us as we adjusted to her toddler needs along the way. We have so many special memories of our trip to Israel because of the tour Nir led. Memories like:
- Drinking herb tea along the hills of the Golan
- Traversing through the tunnels of Old Jerusalem
- Wine tasting in the Galilee
- Feeding kangaroos (!) at the park
- Riding a camel in the desert
- Learning the history of Masada
- A meaningful tour of Yad Vashem
So many laughs, some cries (hello, toddler!), and a beautiful trip we'll always remember.

In April, five of us traveled for 15 days the width and breadth of Israel including 2 days in Petra and Wadi Rum using Nitzan Travel. There are travel agencies that take you to places and there are travel agencies who take you places but also take care of you. Nissan travel service rates among the best I have ever worked with, a true white glove experience from A to Z. Nir Nitzan and his assistant Arin Poller created an itinerary that was extraordinary. Everything was done with such detail and class.
Their customer service was non-stop, starting from the first day we arrived at the hotel, calling to insure all was well. In addition they made it a point to meet up with us several times on our tour taking the time to meet us and introduce themselves. They always were available to us, insuring we were satisfied and had no additional requests. Those we had were immediately accommodated , making us feel very special as clients.
Of course, a tour’s success is also dependent on the guide. We hit the jackpot. Our tour guide, Yossi, is the epitome of what makes a great guide. Not only is he Incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and a wonderful human being but his passion for the beauty and history of Israel is infectious. Three members of our group had never been to Israel, but after traveling with Yossi for 2 weeks, they came away in love with the country and him. We hated to say goodbye, he had become so dear and close to us.
Bottom line: when you select Nitzan Travel you are getting more than a travel agency, you are getting an experience of a lifetime.

We have used Nir Nitzan for two wonderful family trips to Israel. I can't imagine working with anyone else. From start to finish he helps you plan every detail of your trip exactly the way you want to see Israel. His communication is excellent throughout the process, his attention to detail is meticulous and his fund of knowledge as a guide is exceptional! There is no end to his ability to bring excitement and knowledge to every minute of your trip. Whatever it is that you want to see or do in Israel, Nir can arrange an experience of a lifetime!
