The Kahanov winery is a family winery located in the heart of the family vineyards.The high quality vineyard and the winery providing a picturesque and pastoral atmosphere compatible to the experience of visiting the site. he Winery grapes are only one percent of the family crop, enabling the selection and careful choosing of the grape clusters which make Kahanov's wine so special and unique.These wines are produced using traditional methods and state-of-the-art equipment, this production reflecting the winery and its wines - a new world but deeply rooted in a long tradition. Each bottle receives warm and particular attention from Kahanov family members, who personally produce each one of them.The family's deep familiarity with vineyards allows an intimacy with each acre and variety of grape - it is such intimacy and love that have created the miracle of the Kahanov Winery and the Kahanov wines. Kahanov winery's flagship wines are noble Cabernet, Merlot and Petit verdot varietes.

Friday mornings at 11am, the winery opens its doors to the public for a wine tasting session that includes the most amazing eat-all-you-can buffet; all for NIS30 that gets refunded if you buy 3 or more bottles. Certain blends of wine are excellent and fairly priced so it's fun discovering which you like best. There's even more fun when the slightly inebriated local veterans pull out an old accordion and guitars and start to jam on Palmach songs. Had my harmonica in my pocket and I fit right in. It's a great hidden gem for taking visitors from abroad or just having an unforgettable super brunch. I almost forgot to mention that Farmer Kahanov is quite the character who you will probably also never forget.

Well, we went to celebrate and I must say it was best celebration ever.
They served fabulous meat dishes, managed by Elad Sapir.
Each one was better than the other..
wine was unlimited, we drunk so much and enjoy it.
Music was good, atmosphere was great, people were happy..
We will definitely go back again.

This boutique winery is located in the vineyard, next to Gadera. on Friday mornings Avi Khanov, his wife and extended family are hosts to visitors from near and far.
For 30 shekels, you get to taste from their very, their impressive lineup of both young and mature wines as well as a buffet breads and cheeses.
The best part of the visit is to listen to the stories Avi, a "salt of the earth" second generation vintner. We were spell-bounded for the morning by Avi's stories and by his passion for producing wine. He would berate us every time he noticed that our glasses were empty.
Needless to say, you get the opportunity to purchase the wines which are not marketed by the chains.
Very much worth a visits!

Avi and Eran Kahanov have designed a "never taste before" wine which is so rich in flavor that is it hard to describe flowers from all the mediteranean costs , you can smell the work of sun on nature
