The Balconies is a 1km relatively level dirt and stone pathway from Reeds Lookout carpark. Some nice small rock outcrops on the way along with typical Aussie bush and wildflowers. We saw kids pushed in strollers and a motorised wheelchair that had made it to...More

Enjoy the walk of around 1km from the car park and see magnificent views at the end. Great for families with young children. Take a water bottle and some snacks to enjoy the view at the end. Not sure why people keep going over or...More

The pictures that many visitors take sitting or standing on the edge of the rock is off limit. We arrived in the evening and managed to catch the setting sun. It made the view of the plain spectacular.

It was an awe-inspiring as well as educational. The fact this place is part of Australia's Aboriginal myths, and standing right into it is simply an amazing experience.

It is a flat walk to the balconies from the car park. But longer than you realise. At the end the scenery is worth every bit. Come at sunset especially in the summer and it is stunning.

An easy 2 km round walk along a well defined path to a spectacular view. (If it wasn't for the 30 degree heat and the flies, I would have enjoyed every step of the way.) The Balconies is an unusual rock formation next to a...More
