We drove under the sea to get to Vagar then through this tunnel to get to the other end of the island. I am becoming more amazed about all the tunnel construction. Wonderful for shortcuts.

If you ever visit the Faroe Islands make sure you stop there. Pray for good weather as well. This thread should be called waterfall and not a tunnel.

I was told that the view here is spectacular . we went after touring nearly all of the island but unfortunately went on a cloudy day. Not worth it as cant really see anything and appreciate the views

Visit the town that wasnt accessible by road until very recently Amazing views over the sea Also accessible treking over the tunnel

The taxis will take you pretty much anywhere in the country for around $250 to Vagar and the waterfall, can rent a car for maybe less, try Kayak

Head through the tunnel and once you're on the village side parking is on the left right before the village
