Watch our glassblowers creating wonderful african animal figurines and tableware using 100% recycled glass, from an overhead balcony. Feel the heat of the furnace and understand why we say we are the HOTTEST attraction in Swaziland. Our well stock showroom is attached to the factory and there is a coffee shop offering light meals. Beer and wine also available. In our well established gardens there is an array of well stocked craft shops selling Swazi Fair Trade products, all produced within Swaziland. Central in the garden is a jungle gym for the young ones to enjoy whilst the adults shop.

Usually I don't like shopping stops during our travels, but this was different. You can actually watch the actual glass making process from a catwalk above the factory floor. It's amazing to watch these people create works of art in glass. The end products are unique and not the typical tourist stuff you see everywhere. The glass factory is worth... More

Went on a Saturday therefore did not get to see the actual glass blowing, but will go back for that during the week. Very quaint place with beautiful and unusual glass pieces. Whatever you buy is really packed well so you need not worry that you will break your purchases before you get home. There are other little shops within... More

Worth a stop to see the process. Reasonable prices and no pressure to buy. Only stayed 20 minutes but enjoyed every minute.

Thank you for your review and support we really appreciate it. Should your heading not be "HOT place" rather than "Cool", with the furnace sitting in the middle of the factory floor at 1250 degC, we often get comments that it is very hot in the factory:) More

Here you can see art of handmade glass and appreciate beautiful pieces, like glasses, animals, and other things. At the top balcony you can see men's crafting glass and give them form. A small factory but it really worths. Excellent place to buy some souvenirs from Swaziland.

The factory is interesting, and the glass unique! Packaged so well that it was checked and came home in one piece!

We were told that the the glass blowers here use recycled glass collected by the children of Swaziland to make their creations. The place is fairly large and there were numerous objects that caught my eye. I ended up buying two pieces that were smaller and they were wrapped securely to fit in my suitcase for the flight home. One... More

Correct that we use recycled glass, but it is collected from all corners of the country by all sorts of people, some of whom are school children earning some pocket money for themselves. Thanks for the review and support, we really appreciate it. More

The glass making is interesting to watch and the quality is good. The standard tourist pieces are worthwhile buying. There are some lovely individual jewellery pieces but out of our price range

Called in and spent 45 minutes here which covers everything from watching the workers making the glass ornaments to browsing the well stocked shop to having a coffee. An interesting stop off and we got some nice glass souvenirs to remind us of our journey. Well worth the time .

I have been visiting the Glass Factory regularly over the last 15 years and always enjoy watching the glassware work, the exhibition of glass products (never failing to buy additional ones), the exhibition of selected handicraft (also buying some unique pieces not available elsewhere) and taking advantage of the coffee shop. The opening of the various boutiques and of the... More

Thank you for your review and your support, we really appreciate it. As much as we try to come up with new products on a regular basis, with such a large product base already, this is not always practical. Regarding the pewter, I assume you are talking about the "blackened" effect we used to do. I must mention here that... More
