Nice place, visit of the installation, great tour guide available in many language (ours in French). The parents loved the port tasting but the kids found the tour a bit too long.

This is one Quinta that we had not visited over the years. The views were impressive, the tour was interesting but there are better ones. The port wines were good too.

We visited this week and it is worth going just for the view alone! The tour is free for under 18s (who don’t sample!) and is relatively short but interesting and ends with the chance to try two ports (on the classic tour). The drive...More

What a great place! Despite the rude receptionist we persevered and went to the tasting room without a your. Make sure you get two flights and a cheese board for four and get the waitress to chat. We learned as much from her as any...More

We wanted to visit a Quinta and decided on this one because it offered multiple formulas (wines, wines+port, 2-3-4 different ports) at economical prices. First we did the tour which was interesting and showed us the process of making the wines. Our guide's English was...More

We reached the winery after closing hours. However, the drive to the top, the views, the fruit trees, the ambience are beyond magnificent. Today, I found the following information on their web site and am sad to have missed the picnic tour advertised on the...More

Interesting history. Got to see video of current squeezing of grapes and diff in making white, tawny and ruby port. And of course glasses of port in the tasting too. Excellent view from patio.
