One of the most unique natural wonders of the Riviera Maya are the cenotes, these are created by an underground river system and are fresh water sink holes considered to be sacred. You will take a jungle tour in ATV's where the Mayans also believed they were the entrance to the underworld.

While in Riviera Maya, we took a day excursion to Tulum and Jungle Maya with Alltournative Tours. My husband and I, along with our three kids (ages 14, 11, 9) had a great day with our amazing guide Eduardo Mercado. He made the trip an experience of a lifetime. Thank you, Eduardo! The first stop was Tulum where we were... More

This was one great experience. When we first arrived, we went on a rappelling tour down in a cave. That was really awesome! Then we went on a Zip line tour which included five lines. The lunch was great. This was one of my best tours.

This was a great tour! Carlos was an awesome tour guide and really made it the best experience. We did the ziplining, snorkeling in the cenotes, repelling, Mayan ceremony, and went to the tulum ruins. Even though it rained at the beginning of our tour it was the best part of our whole trip! Definitely would recommend this excursion to... More

We did this tour with our guide, Riaz Escobedo. He is a fun, personable, and informative guide. He is humerous and keeps the trip interesting. We went with a blended family of 7, with kids aging from 12 to 26. They ALL enjoyed the trip, including the zip lines, jungle ride and the cenotes. I highly recommend this trip.

Went as a family of four with two older teems and this was exactly what was needed, a mix of culture and adrenaline. We were treated to a shamanic ceremony which managed to feel quite intimate and not the contrived type set up that can occur with these things. The zip lines, abseil and cenote swim were just lovely and... More

This was a highlight for me of my trip to Mexico! Once you arrive at Jungle Maya, you are in for a real treat! You begin by learning about the area and preparing for your first activity; repelling into a cenote cave. My only criticism, I wish we could have stayed swimming in there for longer. Then came the zip... More

Fantastic day with a fantastic, knowledgeable guide - Mela We started the day at Tulum Ruins looking at the archaeological site. Mela gave us a 20 minute talk about the history of the area, the people and traditions and customs! We then had an hour to explore. If the ruins aren't your thing, ensure you have your swim stuff and... More

I have been on many excursions and this one was wonderful. My husband and I went on our honeymoon and it exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Rebecca, was so friendly, funny, and made the experiences such a great one. She was very knowledgeable on the history and full of info throughout the trip!! If you want a trip that includes... More

This was an excursion while on holiday, I am not confident in water, but our guide Mr Perfecto ensured I didn't miss anything, he helped me through the water parts. The zip lines were fantastic, excellent food. The whole day was perfect!! If in doubt just do it, you won't regret it!!!

That was our best tour we have done so far. We had an excellent guide, you could tell that he really enjoy its job (sorry i can't remember your name). A few tips: don't bring towel from your hotel, they will give you one. Snorkeling equipment are provided as well, sterilezed. They won't allow camera in the cenotes and zipline... More
