The most exciting thing is the road to reach it. First: this is the first road that is in very good condition. Second: the strong slope on a superb scenery. The church by itself is nothing so exciting. only a few interesting remains.

A beautiful church in a beautiful setting that hardly anyone visits. Take the bus up from Aliverdi and walk down enjoying the stupendous views

it is a beautiful basilica but i had to take a taxi specifically for this place. Make sure that you come during day time as a local priest is there.
