Nice waterfall

The water is really cold. The waterfall is strong. There is a part where you can swim. To get there the trek is easy

Whenever in Penedo, don't miss the chance of visiting one of it's falls, including this one (one of the most famous). The water is crystal-clear and the surrounding nature creates a break from the urban mess. If you plan to swim, keep in mind the cold temperature of water! Good for photo shooting, but be aware to take care with your lenses once water may fall into it :). Try to shoot your photos from the top of one of the stones in from of it or by it's side. You don't need any guide to reach the fall. Drive your car into the park and follow the signs.... More

A lovely waterfall and not many people here as it is difficult to find as signs are poor. You can swim at the bottom of the falls as it's not too deep at all. You can get a bus from the centre of Penedo which means only a 10 minute walk.

This is a nice waterfall, accessed by a short yet not smooth trail. The waterfall is nice, but compared to the ones at itatiaia park this one is not too special

This waterfall lies in the heart of Itatiaia's National Park and is really worth going. For those who enjoy being in touch with nature and seek a peaceful place to relax not so far from big cities such as Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, this is a great choice. A day in the park is surely pleasant and visiting... More
