Located in Barton Square at The Trafford Centre, the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is made up of a series of interactive features to immerse kids into a world where their imagination can run wild with creative inspiration at every turn. Featuring a whole host of exciting attractions from the Kingdom Quest ride to an amazing recreation of the North West's most iconic buildings, the Centre not only provides fun for LEGO fans young and old, but fantastic educational benefits too. Imagine: Today you’re a Ninja! Well imagine no more; channel your inner ninja and prepare to be wowed at the UK’s only LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre, at intu Trafford Centre Manchester, and its brand new LEGO® Ninjago™ City Adventure play feature! With 3 storeys of awesome play area, this Ninjago themed adventure is a place for little ninjas to hone their skills to become the very best. The Ninja Temple will test LEGO® fans’ time and reaction skills before they venture through physical courses and test their own agility – play features include a Tiger widow island escape trainer climbing wall, LEGO® Ninjago™ characters’ challenges from Kai, Jay, Cole, Lloyd, Zane and Nya, crisscross maze and vertical rope climb, a spiral slide of lights, crawl through tunnel, ballpool, sky wheels, bash bags, lightening buzzer bars, Spinjitzu tornado and much more! The Centre involves just one entry fee, with all attractions included in the cost. Tickets are available online from just £11.00 per person online, and you MUST be accompanied by a child. The Centre opens at 10am seven days a week and remains open until 6.00pm daily, with the last admission at 5pm. The Lego Store remains open until 6.00pm. We are open every day of the year with the exception of Christmas day.

We visited about 3pm in the afternoon, looks like it died down a bit from the day but still plenty of time to explore :)

Yes there is a lazy ride and the other rides are small enough for a little one to go on by themselves. A driving one. There is a pedal ride, which you don't have to pedal if you don't want to. I think you will be fine.
