A paradise for those who like armory and the smell of old gunnery. Very interesting, extensive and rare exhibition. So many armoured equipment, that one will forget the time, when exploring the devices, texts and pictures. The museum gives a creditable view of the Finnish armoured forces during the WW2 and present. Most of the equipment is well renovated and... More

If you wish to see tanks and more tanks visit Parola Tank Museum. There is two indoor areas and an outdoor area. Some of the tanks are in really good shape and some not so much. I think it's still an interesting museum to visit. The fee is 7,50 eur. There is also a small gift shop

OK, I am biased, because back in the days I was in the Army in Parolannummi, which is about 2km from Tank Museum. So this place is important part of my history, bit also important part of Finnish history. Many of the tanks outside are not in the best shape, but you have to remember that many of those are... I last visited the museum in 1978. It has moved and it has improved. Well worth making the effort to visit the museum. If you can also visit the near by Artillery Museum then make a day of it. Lots of interesting exhibits which are well displayed. Of course museums could always be better but they have done a fantastic... More

Museum fee is 7,5 euro. But most outside tanks are not good shape at all. Tanks which are inside are almost side by side, so you can't take decent photos. Also it's weird that museum crew said 3 time that remember that you can't ever use your photos anywhere. I was like what the he**. Yeah it mean that you... More

Excellent old and new tanks inventory. This is museum, where I can see old Russian T-34 tank and also new Russian T-72 tank ( Similar like in Syria now ).

As a former officer and a tank lover I was extremely surprised to find such a great collection of rare tanks in Finland. Most of the tanks are pre-war built, so it is extremely to find them in these days. The majority of military vehicles are Soviet and German production lines with a few "hand made" Finnish tanks, which were... More

Parola Tank Museum is certainly one of a kind when it comes to specialised warfare museums in Scandinavia and Northern Europe. The sheer amount of tanks, including few extremely rare or indeed unique, and other armored vehicles is stunning for such a small place, but it is all within one hour north from Helsinki. In addition to tanks, the museum... More

Interesting place, ten points. If you are interesting tanks and other military things go there. Reasonible price tickets (15euro for whole family).

Panssarimuseo, as we Finns call it, is a very interesting place. Here you can find tanks and armoured vehicles from the wars in Finland. The selection is wide and well presented. In museum there's also few cut-half tanks, hit-by-another tanks, history of outfit of tank crew etc. There's also a big outdoor exhibition of tanks. And of course there is... More
