Our first contact for our camping experience was a grumpy elderly woman with attitude. Our visit almost stopped there as we were up for a relaxed visit with our dearest friends, not stress from the park staff. Campers must park in an area poorly designed for traffic and walk over to register at a building. There are no toilets in... More

We were a family of three in one site, and a couple in another site. We got adjoining sites (back to back, located in different loops), which was very handy. We parked vehicles and one tent in one site, and a trailer in the other site. Our sites were a lot more treed than many in Alberta, which was good... More

Ok I've camped alot in the past (even here) but who'd have thought that this would be the weekend we'd get warnings for noise? Is it not ok to talk or make a little noise when you go camping? Even the site behind us was making noise but that was ok I suppose. I will admit we were a bit... More

This is a beautiful campground, with a nice beach area where you can rent various watercraft. This was our first time there, and we were in #128 with our tent. Good supplies in the store. There were two things I didn't like about the campground. First, an immovable grill covered the fire pit, leaving just a small opening in the... More

We took the kids here for a portion of our annual camping trip. It was awesome!! Sites were great, clean and private enough. We were 3 families and they were able to put us all close together which made it easier with 10 kids there. I highly recommend going there and we will definitely go back!

We arrived a tad early and hadn't realized that camping check-in was at 4pm (check out is 2pm). The employees at the information/registration desk were not overly helpful in pointing out places to go and it wasn't until we really pressed for information did they offer up that we could pull our trailer into the day over-flow parking until 4pm... Not a bad way to spend the day. Quite a bit of parking. Ok beach... A little rocky. Biggest drawback is the small swimming area. Huge grassy area. Really close drive from Edmonton. I would recommend trying it out.

We love camping here every year! Great place to hang out for the day or camp overnight. Tons of sites to pick from. Clean and friendly place to go.
