It was a nice individual half day trip from Palenque. It’s reachable easily with the minivans or taxi colectivos leaving very frequently from the mainstreet (but closer to the busterminal, than the Ruinas-shuttles) with destination Ocosingo. One way was 50pesos and tell the driver you...More

This is a must. One of the most beautiful waterfalls in Mexico. If you have time, you can swim in some parts of the river. The view is beautiful.

Exotic and beautiful but now filled with vendors. Worth a visit and a swim if the weather allows it. Very touristy and can get very crowded. Beautiful scenery.

You see the falls and the swimming area almost immediately but keep going up. There’s more and more. There are a couple of designated swimming areas but the girl I’d teamed up with and I found a quiet spot to go in the water and...More

The waterfall is really nice. Around it there is a small villague, to enter it we had to pay 40 pesos per person.

Don't go if it was raining the days before. The water is brown then. The hike to the top is worth it, along the way are a lot of shops.

All the hotels and agencies in Palenque offer combination tours to the Ruins, Misolha, Agua Azul and Roberto Barrios. We chose to spend a day at the ruins independently but booked a tour of Misolha and Agua Azul through our hotel. There seems to be...More

After the the Chiflon waterfall's the Agua Azul is nothing special...but if you don't know what to do is a nice place to spend few hours.
