I see the potential of this beach and I love to find hidden gems that are more difficult to get to but unfortunately this beach was completely covered and piled high with seaweed. To the left is junks hole bay which was littered with garbage...More

We love visiting off the beaten path beaches, but this one was a huge disappointment. The water was quite rough, the sand coarse (almost fish tank gravel-like), it had heaps of red seaweed, and litter everywhere. Be sure to wear shoes if you want to...More

Call it Junks Hole or Savannah Bay, eat at Nat's Place or Palm Grove ... both location and eatery are one and the same! As you leave Island Harbour on Walter Hodge road, keep your eyes peeled for the sign and dirt track on the...More

Our experience of this beach apparently wasn't typical of some of the other contributors. You drive down a long dirt road to get to it. The bay is very large and has a nice beach along 95% of the bay. It was windy and the...More

This is a sad case of disappearing beach. Strong winds in the first two weeks of March resulted in a large influx of seaweed on a lot of beaches (Sandy Hill also). On Savanna, which is the most exposed in Anguilla, the whole mile long...More

Don't let the tales of the mile long trek over a dirt and rock strewn track to this bay deter you. You don't need a jeep to get there and you will be rewarded with a jem of a bay ! Both days of our...More

What a GORGEOUS beach! It is a bit difficult to get it and yes, there is some litter. But it didn't spoil a thing for us. To find a beach like this, virtually uninhabited, is just unheard of. Worth the bouncy roads :)
