We came here for lunch. We ordered the trio of dips and the paté. We had to wait long before our plates came and still hadn't received our wine. The trio of dips was good, the paté was not good at all. The bread basket that came with it was big and very tasty, especially the waffle crackers! All in... More

Returning to Cowes from visiting the GP circuit, saw the sign for the winery and popped in. Patrick gave an excellent account of the available wines to taste and food to buy. Opted for tasting only, but also listened to another staff member giving a presentation (so professionally done with great humor) to a tourist group of Phillip Island history,... More

What a wonderful unexpected afternoon. Thought it would be just another tin shed winery.. instead we came across some gentle guitar, playing classics 60's and 70's. A selection of platters.. perfect for the quiet afternoon, pleasant gardens to meander through. All set in a rustic outdoor restaurant type layout. Plenty of local couples and social groups here, so obviously a... More

Phillip Island Winery is easily found on most tourist maps of the island and is probably within good striking distance from most places on the island unless you've gotten as far as Cowes and can't be bothered moving at all past that point. The place was set back from the road and had a reasonable amount of parking for it's... More

We thought we'd sample a few wines, but ended staying for lunch. Friendly staff, exceptional wine and great customer service.. This place has a great vibe; my only regret was driving - I could have easily spent the afternoon here drinking more malbec.

l went with a group and we all commented on how good it was. The food was plentiful - cold cuts; salads, cheeses, tasty little hot snacks, dips and lovely breads. I don't drink but those who had the wine said it was very enjoyable. To top it off when it started to pour rain (torrential downpour) just as we... More
