'An ancient, Arcadian country estate'

With a 125 acre estate of fine trees and open skies, Morden Hall Park is a tranquil hideaway enveloped by London. Follow the River Wandle as it meanders serenely through the park and under the ornate bridges. The atmospheric wetlands provide a natural haven for an abundance of wildlife including kingfishers, herons and dragonflies.

For our young explorers we have a natural play area where you can fly through the air on the zip wire before building your very own secret den in the woods.

Events run throughout the year, from family trails to summer theatre and open air cinema nestled amongst the roses.

'In each and every season, Morden Hall Park is yours to explore'

The Potting Shed cafe serves fresh, seasonal food including home baked cakes and treats. If you're looking for a special gift or simply want to treat yourself, take inspiration from our Garden Centre.

Really good option in the concrete jungle for a nice walk. It has a lovely coffee shop (can be busy) and a good garden centre, plus a few other smaller shops. It can get busy parking wise, but that's to be expected. Great one for the kids to expend some energy!!

We visited Morden Hall for a family wedding and the location is gorgeous with willow trees waving over the river and expanses of grass - all just lovely on a gorgeous spring day. Morden Hall itself is a lovely venue for a wedding and the staff were amazing, as well as the rooms and trimmings.

I had heard about this park so, armed with my concessionary Oyster card, I ventured on the long trek to Morden. Morden itself looks like any other suburb of London, but venture a short walk from the station and you could be in the middle of the country. There is an interesting snuff mill, rose garden and stable block and... More

I was working in the area, so stopped off for a bimble around the park during lunch time. A pleasant park, lots of dog walkers and young mums with their children. Cafe, Mill, boardwalk national trust wildlife area, well sign posted, bridge and a stream. plenty to do, a rose garden that looks like it will be very pretty in... More

I grew up near here and now live just down the road. It's a fantastic park. Lots of space. Rose Garden. Streams shallow enough to play in. Trees providing shade. Two cafes, and very close to local shops and Morden Tube Station.

What a wonderful refurbishment there has been at Morden Hall – this gem of a location in southwest London. For 2 years we’ve looked-on from the National Trust’s surrounding, green parkland and wondered what progress was being made; and now we know. The spacious venue has been so tastefully redecorated and yet retains a “country house” ambience, with, of course,... More

Surprise find, best thing in Morden, quieter than more central parks but also more variety in terms of landscape and things to do. Recommend the outdoor plays and things they have on in the summer.
