Educational and Fun
Jul 2021
We had read good reviews about this place but hadn't been. We were very impressed. There were 10 of us, 5 were aged between 3 and 8. There was something for everyone. Great learning experience for the children. The volunteers running it were so helpful, and keen to provide us with the best experience, starting up the engines, guiding us to what was interactive. Kids loved "milking" the cows, and the tractor ride to get to the dairy section. Reasonably priced for all that is there. We spent about 3 hours and didn't see everything, but had a really good look around. There is a cafe with some lovely sweet treats, however, warning to those who like a good coffee, grab one on the way as there is only instant coffee available. A lot of it is under cover so good on a rainy day. Highly recommend.

So much to enjoy here...

Our favourite was the Bunbury RSL military collection, but wow it was a tough choice. We also loved the sawmill demonstration and the spring making both things we hadn't seen before. And the lovingly restored operational engines were beautiful. We stayed for about 3 hours and could easily have stayed longer. A credit to all the amazing volunteers and workers here.

Amazing collection
Apr 2021 • Couples
We visited on a wet day and drove there with no expectations. BUT, wow what an experience..... this spot is seriously awesome. The collection is very well laid out with lots of volunteers willing to offer advice and all very knowledgeable. The exhibits are all in excellent condition and in working condition.
The Centre will allow you to take a walk down Memory Lane, irrespective your age...... there is something for everyone.
The cafe was also an added bonus..... with snacks and great coffee.
This is a MUST SEE if you are in the area.

Family day out
Jul 2019 • Family
Please be aware it's only open on Wednesdays and Sundays. We got it right this time. As with the other reviews we confirm that there is a massive impressive collection of items to see. But to add, the staff were all super friendly and keen to share their knowledge, assist us or start up the machines for us. Great to see so many items in working order. 10/10 thank you. Oh and Google Maps will turn you down the next street adjacent to the entry - sensible drivers will see the entry sign.

Absolutely Brilliant!

I definitely recommend you visit the Dardanup Heritage Park. It is most certainly a very special place and definitely the best museum I've ever attended. They have such a wide range of heritage from trucks, cars, machinery and every household item you could think of. Everything has been immaculately restored and the whole place is extremely well presented. The volunteers are really lovely people with amazing stories to tell and demonstrate the machinery in action. Well worth a visit!

Rusty old machinery- not interested- BUT WOW !!!!!! what a shock amazing renovation of vehicles, machinery, workshops , workers huts etc, there is also lots for the ladies and kids to see. The volunteers are so helpful and interactive, there is tractor and trailer to take you around and drop off to all the sights.
I was amazed at the huge collection of artifacts many took me back to my childhood .
Every shed had something of interest in and so lovingly restored to very high standard.
Really worth a visit I couldn't recommend it highly enough.
The lunch was delicious too.

Went to kill an hour or so. We only scratched the surface of this incredible place. The RSL display with aferret armored vehicle, tank and universal carrier was a very pleasant surprise. All the vehicles, tractors trucks wood working, and historic items were just amazing. There is a cafe on site with a very reasonable menu. See a couple photos attached, wish I had more
I will take my family back again very soon. Just brilliant

Lots to see from all walks of life and era's.

The collections of radios, organs, tractors and machinery and tools from the past and present is worth seeing. Allow some time to take it all in as there is a lot to see including the timber mill and mill workers quarters.
There is a military museum, steam traction engines and much more.

Absolutely must do! Was recommended to me and I am so pleased. Great value for money. We visited on the 1st Sunday of the month. Lots of working demonstrations, very enthusiastic team of volunteers willing to pass on their knowledge to young and old. Fantastic day, will come back again as displays continue to evolve and develop. A great legacy and tribute.
