Lots and lots of koala's in big tree's, no cuddling them but great photo ops. Occasionally they will venture onto the ground.

This place is wonderful. The koalas are not caged. They just run around. We saw them on the ground and in the trees, so many of them. We went in the evening and saw kangaroos and geese and cockatoos. So many animals hang out here....More
Perfect location to see koalas in their natural environment - we saw over 15 during our 2 hour stay with one Koala obligingly at shoulder height in the crook of a tree and very camera-friendly. Easy to spot echidna's too and to get a great...More
Easy viewing of koalas that are not on display but free to roam. Better when no tour bus on site but worth a quick stop if you have time.
We were the only family on the Koala Nocturnal Tour--the tour lasted over 90 minutes and we saw 11 koalas (including a nursing joey) as well as many birds, kangaroos and wallabies. Very knowledgable guide. Highly recommend doing this tour.
We visited Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary as part of our bus tour on Kangaroo Island. We chose to stay with the guide and saw koalas in several trees; 2 sets of mother and Joey - they were up pretty far, and not easy to photograph,...More
