My husband and I are not in shape and really enjoyed taking our time on this hike. We made it up to the wooden stairs that come up shortly after the big waterfall and then made our 2 hour trek back to the car. Something you should not miss is the little area to pull over at the TOP of... More

Quite a challenge for people who don't usually do this kind of thing. Not really suitable for the elderly or young children. Bit of climbing and scrambling over boulders required. Many trip and twist hazards along the way. That said, it's a nice change from the relentless heat walking through mainly shade. Proper shoes or old trainers are a must, no... More

Don't park in the parking next to the road, park at the bridge, you will save a hood 28 minutes of walking. From there to the waterfall it's a path in the woods with some rocky parts, not hard but not easy, bring a big bottle of water. The views are good, and the waterfall is a good resting point... More

We were two almost 30 year olds Ith a normal condition, did the hike. Down from the bridge ( recommended ). Take a big bottle of water, sportshoes, and some cookis, and you'll be fine! Inclusive some retsing, it took us 3.5 hours to descend just to the beach, and mount back up to the car. The waterfall is lovely,... More

after a confusing start (just stick to the concrete road) the trail turns into a single track footpath that winds through the trees. very nice walk although there are some very tricky bits that would be very difficult with small children. Waterfall is stunning and worth the tricky trip down. might be easier going form the bottom up to it.

Because of a small stream that flows in the gorge, even in summer, the Richtis Gorge is lush, green and wooded. It's thus an excellent walk in the summer months as well as in the winter. In the summer there is almost no water in the upper part of the gorge making walking easy. About halfway to the waterfall the... More

This was an easy 20-25 minute hike (after a moderately scary drive to the parking area). The waterfall is pretty and smaller than we anticipated. There were 2 couples there when we arrived, and since its small with only one real seating area, it's not very easy to share the space. When you're at the parking area near the sea... More

We walked the Richtis Gorge around the middle of September, 2015. There are a lot of boulders in various places and require climbing about. Not being very tall and not having long legs, I found some places very difficult. I would not recommend this if you have to take young children with you. The first part of the walk is... More

This route can be challenging but entirely worth it. May i start by suggesting taking your car down the little road to the cobbled bridge this will recude the walk by a good 1.5km! We were unfortunate to head the wrong way at first but once back on track thoroughly enjoyed it. The path was poorly marked in places with... More
