one has to pay for parking & the garden is situated on the hillside of the black mountain. I only saw native garden & trees. Not impressed at all. I would much prefer Hobart or even Brisbane botanic garden.

I have been going here for 30 years. On my first trip, remembering how crowded Kew Gardens is in London, I could not believe what a treat this is. So beautiful, so secluded and so few people. I will keep going back.

We wandered through the gardens which look spectacular after al the recent rain and then enjoyed lunch outdoors at the cafe - we were even visited by some curious wildlife. The food at the cafe was delicious and good value for what we paid.

Wonderful walks through a well designed landscape of many native plants and birds. Favourite areas are the rainforest, rock garden and eucalypt lawns. Finish the walk with some food & drink at the very good cafe. Very family friendly place.

The gardens are beautiful and quiet, unless there are children around. Great place just to take some time out, meditate, or for a nice walk.
