Walking through the confusing maze that is the National Museum of Australia is 2 hours of my life I will never get back. As an Australian citizen i find this waste of taxpayer money to be an embarrassment to say the least. Surely the curators...More

One of my top 2 experiences in our week in Canberra. Do not miss it but make sure you take the tour with Jim who explains the unusual architecture and many other aspects of the exhibits. The Songlines exhibition is at a fee but worth...More

Worth the parking and entry to soo this icon of Aussie history, alone. The Museum can fill an entire day as it is huge. The current exhibit, Songlines, is extraordinary. Worth a visit on a wet day, if one ever comes again.

There’s plenty to see here and you’ll need to give yourself time to take it in. We went to see the exhibition Songlines: Tracking the Seven Sisters. That alone took four hours - including a half hour lunch on overlooking the banks of the lake....More

Spend about an hour viewing this incredible exhibition . Visual presentations of art work, both on canvas and other materials, as well as visual experience in separate small cinema. Very reasonable price at $15 entrance to this beautiful venue and exhibition.

Same places we went. War memorial especially. There were lots of kids there. Make sure you are there for the ceremony at the end of the day. Lots if teenagers there.
