My wife and I visited Telstra Tower with our 3-YO grand-daughter and we all loved the views over Canberra. We walked around the inside viewing area twice , then up the stairs to the outside. Again the views were great! There is a small fee...More

Great place to go and take a look over Canberra and beyond. The views from the platforms are fabulous. Built in the late 70's Telstra Tower is quite a marvel in engineering. We had morning tea at the café which was nice and after taking...More

I had been told by our grandchildren's mother prior to leaving, "do not take them up high buildings" but how do you argue with three children wanting to go up a high tower. I have to say this was the most expensive place we visited...More

Great view of the city below but the cost is far too high. Cafe is expensive so take your own drinks.

Canberra only has about 400,000 people and is spread out with much bush retention. The virtual aerial view from the the tower look out gives a 360 degree view of the city and suburbs and good understanding of the layout and some sense to the...More

As soon as you drive close to Canberra you see this building in the distance. It looks like something from outer space. However up close and inside, it's very underwhelming. Everything looks like it needs a good clean, the cafe is very ordinary and the...More

I thought $7.50 was a bit steep just to go to the observation deck but the 360 degree views are worth the trip.

When we were there last week a very stiff breeze was blowing and it was 4 degrees. Rug up and enjoy the view on the outside observation deck. The indoor areas are heated and very pleasant. Enjoy your visit.

Pretty certain there is no bus service to the top of Black Mountain. Only way to get there without a car would be taxi or Uber. Some people do walk up to the top. sorry for the delay in responding.
