Went here for Mothers Day BBQ and it was lovely, despite the weather. Lots of open play areas for the kids to run around and plenty of picnic tables to set up your lunch. Only criticism would be the lack of sheltered areas now, once...More

This is a lovely place for picnics. Plenty of shade trees, barbecues, picnic tables and seats. Great kids playground. Wheelchair accessible walk to view the new dam information and discovery walk. Easy drive from the city and suburbs.

Well maintained park. Had a refreshing swim in the river on a very hot day and was entertained by the birdlife. Lovely place for a picnic.

This is a family favourite place to visit throughout the year. There are playgrounds, fishing spots, BBQ areas, swimming places and large grassed areas for relaxing. There are marked parking areas and the road is tarred all the way. You only have to walk 50...More
